How to Replace the Cabin Filter on a 2003 Buick Regal

49

The 2003 Buick Regal’s maintenance schedule shows a 15,000 mile replacement interval for the passenger-compartment filter, also called the cabin filter. GM advises inspecting the filter every 7,500 miles, and replacing it if necessary, especially if you drive in dusty conditions. This filter keeps your interior air fresh by weeding out particles like dust and pollen. Changing it does not require a trip to a professional, even if you are inexperienced in automotive repair or maintenance.

Tools Used: Tools, Phillips screwdriver, New cabin filter

Replace Cabin Filter

Crank your engine and turn the windshield wipers on. When the wipers are positioned vertically, immediately shut the engine off and remove the key. This leaves the wipers suspended, allowsing access to the Regal’s cabin filter. Open the hood and approach the engine compartment on the passenger side.
