Proper headlight aiming is critical to driving safety in the dark. Otherwise, the road will not be sufficiently illuminated. Fortunately, headlight adjustment is a not a complicated process, and it does not require an expensive assortment of tools.
Tools Used: Tools, Masking tape, Phillips head screwdriver
Park the car on level ground about 20 feet from a wall or garage door. Set the parking brake and turn on the headlights so they shine on the surface of the door or wall.
Place a piece of tape on the wall vertically in line with the center of the car. Stick a piece of tape in line with the top of the light pattern from each headlight.
