The popular Honda Prelude, manufactured 1978 to 2001, featured a rear window defogger to increase rear visibility in inclement weather. It was one of many imports to provide this feature as standard equipment. Diagnosing and fixing a problem with this system takes only about 30 minutes.

Service a Rear-Window Defogger
Make Sure Current is Reaching the Defogger
Locate the fuse box to the left of the steering column. On models after 1990, the box is under the dash on the driver’s side; turn the knob on the door to open.
