Repairing the camber on a Jeep Patriot will only be necessary if the car’s ride height has been altered from its factory setting. Camber is the angle at which the tires sit perpendicular to the ground. For example, looking at them straight on from the front of the vehicle, the camber of the vehicle’s tires will show you whether your wheels/tires are straight. Example: Illustration 1: | | Illustration 2: \ / Illustration 3: / \ If the camber is out of alignment, as in the last two illustrations, excessive tire wear will result.
