Changing the fuel filter in your Mitsubishi Eclipse can be expensive when the car is handed over to a local car mechanic or work shop. But the process of changing the fuel filter on a Mitsubishi is pretty easy. Save time and money by changing your own fuel filter.
Tools Used: Tools, Basic wrench set, New fuel filter
Install a Fuel Filter
With the car off, remove the fuel filler cap (where you put fuel in the car at the gas station). This will take pressure off of the fuel line. Disconnect the fuel pump connector found underneath the rear seat.
Turn the ignition switch to the on position and allow the car to run.
