The Plymouth Neon’s headlights use a single-bulb system for both high and low beams. A properly aimed headlight illuminates the path ahead of you while alerting oncoming motorists as to your presence. Damage, age or installing a part of the assembly may cause the headlights to become misaligned. Adjustment of the single-bulb system in the Neon requires adjusting the low beams. The process should take about 20 minutes with the use of a Phillips-head screwdriver and a flat wall.
Tools Used: Tools, Phillips-head screwdriver, Masking tape
Park the vehicle close to a wall or vertical surface. Make sure there is 25 feet of flat area in front of the wall, as you will be backing up the vehicle. Place marks on the wall with masking tape that correspond with the location of the center of the headlights.
