The Nissan Quest uses an alternator mounted to the front of the engine to generate electricity for the minivan. This part is critical in the proper operation of the van because if it goes out, so does every electrical accessory used by the vehicle. Although it’s not technically difficult to replace the alternator, it can be a bit frustrating to access and remove, which will take additional time.
