The battery in a Pontiac G6 provides the power necessary for all of the electrical equipment. You should check your battery every year. You may need to replace it if the G6 becomes difficult to start. When you crank the engine, and the engine cranks slowly, this can be an indication of a battery that is losing its charge. Since cold weather can sap the strength of a battery rather quickly, it’s important to check and replace the battery before winter if you live in the northern part of the country.
