The Pontiac Grand Prix’s complex power mirror and door panel construction makes it a replacement project for an experienced do-it-yourself vehicle owner. However, the project only requires a few basic tools for all model years.
Tools Used: Tools, Screwdriver, Wrench
Replace Power Mirror
Remove the Old Mirror
Disconnect the negative battery cable before you take the front door trim panel off the Grand Prix’s door. Remove all screws and clips and carefully pry the panel from the door.
Detach the power mirror electrical wire connector under the door panel. Take off the mirror attachment clips to remove the mirror.
