Installing a horn in a Toyota Avalon is the course of action whenever the stock horn ceases to work. Replacement horns can be purchased from any reputable dealer or retailer. The horn is found under the hood of the Avalon on the driver’s side near the front. You will find it screwed tightly into place and connected by a wire that provides power to the horn.
Tools Used: Tools, Screwdriver, Horn
Install a Horn
Release the hood latch on the driver’s side of the car to pop the hood. Lift the hood and stabilize it. Locate the horn on the driver’s side near the front, where it is screwed tightly into place and connected by a wire that powers the horn. Remove each screw with a screwdriver and disconnect the power wire. Save the screws. Pull the stock horn from the Avalon. Set the new horn in place and tighten it by replacing screws and securing the wire. Close the Avalon’s hood.
