Select models of the GMC Yukon are equipped with a factory-installed Bose stereo system and speakers. These systems provide improved audio performance when compared to standard stereo systems. But some audio aficionados want to go a step further in upping the performance of their system by replacing the Bose speakers with higher-performance aftermarket model speakers. Aftermarket speakers are compatible with the Bose systems in Yukons that are equipped with a Bose stereo, so this won’t involve any complicated electronic wiring or modification.
Step 1 – Place the flat edge of your panel tool under the edge of the triangular sail panel, which is at the front edge of the door and window. Pry upwards to pop off the panel. Set the panel aside.
