Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, clean the four brackets B where the four small pads will attach. Remove the adhesive backings from the small pads, and attach them to the brackets B. 2. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, clean the four plates where the four large pads will attach. Remove the adhesive backings from the large pads, and attach them to the plates. 3. Under the hard luggage carrier, insert the two bolts through bracket B, the plate and the two holes in the bottom of the hard luggage carrier.

4. Fit bracket A over the threads of the two bolts where they protrude through the hard luggage carrier. Install the two washers over the threads, and loosely install the two thumbwheels. Repeat for the remaining mounting points. • Adjust the four brackets A so that the right and left strap holes are positioned equally on both sides. • Install the four brackets B with the cutout facing outward. 5. With the help of an assistant, carefully place the hard luggage carrier on the crossbars. NOTE: Do not damage the vehicle with the hardware hanging from the bottom of the carrier.
