Download 2019 Acura TLX 18-inch Aluminum Wheel Installation Instructions – 1. Before installing the tire pressure sensor, clean the mating surface on the sensor and the aluminum wheel. 2. Install the tire pressure sensor and the washer on the aluminum wheel, and tighten the valve nut finger tight. Make sure the pressure sensor is resting on the wheel. 3. While holding the tire pressure sensor against the wheel, torque the valve nut to 8.0 N·m (5.9 lb·ft) 4. Install the tires according to the Service Manual. 5. Install the wheels on the vehicle and torque the wheel nuts to 108 N·m (80 lb·ft).
6. Drive the vehicle for at least 40 seconds at a speed of 24 km/h (15 mph) or more. All sensor IDs will be memorized automatically. TIRE AND LOAD INFORMATION LABEL If the vehicle had standard 18″ wheels, do not install the new label. If the vehicle had standard 17″ wheels, you must install the new label on the driver’s doorjamb: 1. Open the driver’s door. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, clean the standard tire label. 2. Check the spare tire specification, and choose the new label (A or B) that matches the specification. 3. Attach the new label over the standard label as shown.
