Download •Underside panels must be removed •To remove manifolds • 2 front studs on drivers bank need to be removed from head to allow manifold to come out. • Remove converter pipes and O2 sensors. Unbolt and remove manifolds and pull them out thru the top. To Remove Hood • Remove all brackets from muffler and transaxle. The muffler will lie on top of frame. Remove air box, and tailpipe exit bezel. Remove transaxle upper mount bolt and lower transaxle down as far as it goes. •Using 2 people and patience, the muffler assembly will come out through the top. Lift and rotate towards the rear of the car as you lift. To Install Headers •Jack up transaxle as high as it will go. •Remove heat shield for passenger side axle shaft. • Unbolt P.S. Reservoir and lay it over into right engine vent area • Pop off vacuum line from blower to solenoid on right side by power steering reservoir and tuck out of the way. •Recommend taping off oil tank and all bars above engine to prevent scratching. Drivers Side •Install 2 front pipes first, feed them in from the back underside under axle shaft and just set them in place, install 2 rear pipes from top. •Install all flanges on head, install nuts but don’t tighten them all the way to allow movement to ease collector installation. •Use high temp silicone at collector joints-install collector, install A and B tab bolts and tighten flanges. •Passenger side is the same as Drivers, also hook up air tube Exhaust System • Slide converters into H-pipe from top of car install as an assembly by putting H-pipe toward exhaust openings as far back as possible, then slide cats onto collectors and slide forward install bolts into transaxle put on tips and align, install all clamps and tighten.
