Replace Spark Plugs
Open the hood of your 1993 Chevrolet Caprice and follow the wires on the distributor cap down to the spark plugs on the right and left side of the engine. Pull the rubber caps off the ends of the spark to expose the securing nuts on the spark plugs. Remove the spark plugs from the engine using the ratchet and spark plug socket.
Gap all eight of the new spark plugs to .035 using the spark plug gapper. Insert the new spark plugs into the engine and tighten them to 12 foot-pounds using the torque wrench. Replace the rubber caps onto the new spark plugs and close the hood.
