The Edelbrock carburetor is one of the simplest carburetors to adjust. With two adjustment screws in the front of the carburetor, you can adjust and tune the carburetor in just a few minutes and have your engine running smoothly. The optimum setting for the Edelbrock carburetor is to run between 550 and 650 rpm. This will give you more power as well as greater fuel mileage. You can adjust and tune the carburetor yourself with a screwdriver and a vacuum gauge.
Place the vehicle’s transmission in “Park” and open the hood. Remove the wing nut that holds the air cleaner onto the top of the carburetor and set the air cleaner out of the way.
