A tire pressure gauge is needed to attain proper inflation in each tire. Many Mazda vehicles are equipped with tire sensors that monitor the air pressure in the tires as the vehicle is driven. When the computer determines that the air pressure is too low in any of the tires, a warning message appears on the display. The sensors must be reset after the tire pressure has been corrected in order for the system to continue to accurately monitor the tires. The process for resetting the system is the same for most Mazda models.
