Many Toyota vehicles are equipped with a built-in tire pressure gauge that keeps track of the air pressure in the tires. When the system determines that the air pressure has dropped below the recommended level, a warning message appears on the control panel. After the low pressure condition has been resolved, the tire gauge system must be reset. Resetting the system enables the computer to continue to accurately track the air pressure in the tires. This reset procedure applies to most 2010 Toyota models.
Turn the ignition switch on without starting the engine. Press and hold the “SET” button until the tire gauge indicator blinks three times. The “SET” button is located beneath the steering column. Turn the ignition switch off after 5 minutes to allow the system time to reset and calibrate itself.
