Tire pressure is accurately measured with a gauge. Each Cadillac vehicle produced for the 2002 model year is equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system, or TPMS, that tracks the air pressure in each tire using sensors. A “Check Tire Pressure” message appears on the display when the computer determines that the pressure needs to be adjusted in any of the tires. After correcting the pressure in the tires, the system needs to reset so it can accurately track the pressure again.
