Download 1. Jack up and support your vehicle with jack stands. 2. Drain oil from oil pan and remove oil pan from engine. See a shop manual for disassembly instructions. 3. Clean oil pan thoroughly, including the gasket to block mating surfaces. 4. Pre-fit the oil pan baffle/tray assembly over the oil pump pickup and fit to engine. 5. Apply silicone sealant to engine block and oil pan gasket rail. Position the baffle/tray onto the engine and press into place. 6. Using a new oil pan gasket set it onto the oil pan. (Having silicone sealer between the engine block and baffle/tray allows for removal of the oil pan without breaking the seal between the baffle/tray and engine). 7. Install the oil pan and tighten the bolts in a criss-cross pattern to 8 ft.-lbs., starting from the center and working your way out toward the ends. 8. Fill the pan to the correct level. 9. Start the engine and check for leaks.
