Removing the brake drums from your Toyota Tundra requires you to remove the rear tires from the truck. Access to the brake shoes, hardware and slave cylinders requires removal of the drums as well. If a drum becomes excessively worn or cracked, or has other damage on it, you can replace the drums with new ones. Replacements are available from the dealer or aftermarket from most auto parts stores.
