The Pontiac G6 brake lights are an important part of a vehicle’s brake and safety system. The bulbs used in the G6’s brake lights are low wattage and should last quite a long time. However, eventually, they will burn out. You should check your brake lights twice a year to make sure that they are functioning normally.
If you ever notice condensation forming on the interior of the bulb housing that is more than a light film, then you should check the bulb and replace if necessary. You’ll need to know the part number for a replacement bulb, which can be found on the bottom of the old bulb when you take it out.
