The Pontiac G6’s front lights are integrated into one lighting assembly. This assembly is often referred to as the headlight assembly, even though it contains other bulbs such as the turn signals and parking lights. There is no specific replacement interval for the turn signals. Instead, simply replace them when they burn out. It’s a good idea to check the operation of your exterior lights once a week.

Change Turn Signal Bulbs
Turn the G6’s engine off. Open the hood and inspect the plastic strip running across the front of the engine compartment, above the headlights. Find the six plastic fasteners running across the plastic strip. Pry the fasteners up with the flat-head screwdriver. Keep them in your pocket or in another safe place.
