Download Installation Steps Step Instructions 1. Insert radio keys into four slots at the corner of the NAV unit. Pull outward on the unit and remove from the dash. 2. Disconnect the wiring from the navigation unit. Three of the connectors come off easily by undoing the latching arm. For the highlighted 2-wire module (shown in second picture), first push in the connector to release the locking mechanism. Then in one motion pull the cable out from the unit. 3. Use a T-25 Torx bit to remove the three Torx screws from the base of the OEM AC/NAV surround. 4. Use an interior install tool to pry at the edges of the OEM AC/NAV surround. Firmly pull the surround out as shown. 5. Disconnect the wiring from the air vent. 6. Test fit the carbon surround to the car without any clips. It should fit snug. Practice installing the surround starting at the top left corner. Rotate the piece down so that the lower edge engages last. 7 Remove the air vent from the OEM AC/NAV surround by using a T-10 Torx bit to unscrew the three Torx screws. Transfer the air vent to the carbon fiber surround and tighten the Torx screws in. 8 Now that the airvent grills are installed, again test fit the carbon surround to the car without any clips. It should fit snug. 9 Attach the clips to the surround. 10 Reconnect the airvent wiring. Do not forget this step! 11 Push the surround into the dash ensuring that all the clips snap into place.
