Changing worn or damaged motor mounts on your Celica is a job that takes preparation and time to complete. Motor mounts keep the engine secured to the frame and housing of the car and engine compartment. Taking your Celica to the body shop to have a motor mount replaced costs a lot of money.
Tools Used: Tools, WD-40, Ratchet set, Pliers, Jack, 2 Jack stands
Replace Motor Mounts
Park the car on a level surface with enough room on both sides of the car to work. Jack up the right side of the car and place a jack stand under the support point underneath the car. Do this to the left side of the car as well.
Remove the jack from underneath the car and open the hood. Disconnect the battery so no power is going to the fan.
