The Toyota T100 full-size pickup truck is equipped with disc brakes on the front and drum brakes on the rear. Once you begin to hear a high-pitched squealing sound when you depress the brake pedal, it’s time to replace the front brake pads. If you continue to drive the vehicle beyond the life of the pads, you will damage the rotors, which are much more costly to replace. The procedure for changing the pads on two-wheel drive trucks and four-wheel drive trucks is slightly different, but it should take about an hour for either.
