2011 Honda CRV Hood Air Deflector Installation Instructions

Download Installation 1. Open the hood. Fold back the seal on the hood and locate 4 square holes in the hood. Install a grommet nut into each of the four square holes. 2. Align two brackets A and two brackets B to the holes on the four grommet nuts. 3. Close the hood. Attach pieces of masking tape to the hood under two brackets A and two brackets B as shown. 4. Use a felt-tip pen to mark the center of two brackets A and two brackets B on the masking tape. 5. Open the hood. Remove two brackets A and two brackets B. 6. Using one alcohol swab, clean the areas where the protection tapes will attach. 7. Fold back the hood seal. Align the centers of the four protection tapes to the marks made in step 4, and attach them to the hood as shown. 8. Remove the masking tape. 9. Install two brackets A and two brackets B to the four grommet nuts with four 5 x 9 mm truss screws. Push each bracket against the hood while installing the screw. 10. Using one alcohol swab, clean the area where the left bracket C will attach. 11. Align the template on the hood in the area shown, and tape it in place with masking tape. 12. Using a felt-tip pen, mark along the template as shown. Remove the template. 13. Remove the adhesive backing from left bracket C. Align and attach left bracket C to the mark made on the hood in step 12. 14. Erase the marks made on the hood. 15. Flip the template over and repeat steps 10 through 14 on the right side of the vehicle
