2013 Honda CRV Hood Air Deflector Installation Instructions

Download Installation 1. Open the hood. Locate the three square holes on the inside of the hood. Push one grommet nut into each square hole in the hood. 2. Using an alcohol swab, clean the hood where each protective film will attach. 3. Remove the adhesive backings from each protective film, and attach the four protective films around the front of the hood. Use the three grommets and the indentation as reference. Wrap half of the protective film around the lip of the hood at each of the four locations. 4. Position two brackets A over the protective tapes at the outer locations, and position bracket B over the inner grommet. Loosely install one truss screw through each bracket and into the grommet. 5. Position bracket C over the protective film, and align bracket C to the indentation on the inside of the hood. Secure bracket C to the hood with a piece of masking tape as shown. 6. Gently close the hood. Position the hood air deflector on the hood and adjust the rubber molding around the front of the hood as shown. 7. Align the holes in the hood air deflector with the holes in the four brackets. Secure the hood air deflector to the brackets with two screws, two collars, and two clips. Tighten the screw s securely. 8. Open the hood. Tighten three truss screws loosely installed in step 4. Remove the masking tape attached in step 5. 9. Using an alcohol swab, clean the inside the hood where the advice label will attach. 10. Remove the adhesive backing from the advice label, and attach the advice label to the hood in the area shown.
