Replacing wiper blades on your automobile should be done if the blades have shown signs of age such as tearing, drying, or cracking. To be on the safe side, you should replace your wiper blades every 6,000 miles. To find the wiper blades that fit your vehicle’s exact specifications, visit a local autoparts retailer.
Replace Windshield Wipers
Pull the wiper assembly away from the windshield. Remove the wiper by depressing the release tab on the wiper adapter and pulling the wiper down. Hold the new wiper blade upside down and rotate the adapter until it is perpendicular, with the curved edge facing the blade.
Move the hook of the wiper arm in through the center of the blade assembly and over the curved end of the adapter. Pull the adapter until it snaps into place in the wiper arm. Lay the wiper flat on the windshield and repeat the process for the other wiper.
