How to Disable the Kodak Ink Monitor

174

The Kodak EasyShare printer dock prints color photos and connects your computer to your Kodak camera. While your office probably has other color printers, the EasyShare printer dock prints to photo-sized paper, and can do so even without connecting to the computer. When it does connect to a computer, Kodak’s monitoring program runs in the taskbar. This program displays the printer’s status, lists print jobs, monitors ink usage and links to Kodak’s website. You can disable the monitor temporarily or permanently.

1. Click the arrow in the taskbar’s notifications area to show its hidden icons.

2. Right-click the Kodak Status Monitor icon, which looks like a printer.

3. Click “Exit” to disable the monitor temporarily. Click “Remove Icon from Taskbar” to disable it permanently.
