The Optima is a 4-door sedan manufactured by Kia. The Optima’s horn is activated by pressing the center of the steering wheel. The wiring for the horn runs behind the dash panel and toward the driver’s side of the vehicle, passing by the driver’s kick panel, which is a small panel found to the left of the gas and brake pedals. It is easiest to access the Optima’s horn wiring via the driver’s kick panel, as opposed to dismantling the steering column.
