Shut down the machine, and then turn the car off. Reconnect the fuel lines from the gas tank back to the lines leading to the engine. Start the car.
Listen for a smoother idle and fewer misses as indications of proper cleaning. If need be, you can repeat the process for further cleaning of the injectors.
Tips & Warnings
A car repair shop will normally charge a flat fee for an in-car injector cleaning and a per-injector fee for out-of-car cleanings.
Wear gloves and goggles when disconnecting and connecting fuel lines; they are under pressure.
