The Maxima is a car produced by Nissan and is available in a variety of different models. The electrical system operates using 12 volts so if you want to add an extra battery to your Maxima, the total output voltage of the batteries must not exceed this number of volts. However, you can add an extra battery for use as an auxiliary, or to increase your Maxima’s endurance, by wiring the batteries in parallel. By doing this you double the endurance, but the total output voltage remains at 12 volts. If you position your additional battery close to the existing one safely and securely, wiring the battery is simple.
