Nissan Titans are usually very tough and reliable trucks. However, their fuel pumps have a tendency of going bad and becoming plugged with residue and other debris. But rather than pay for labor charges at an auto shop, you can easily replace the fuel pump yourself by following these step-by-step instructions.
Tools Used: Tools, Standard end-wrench set
Change a Fuel Pump
Pull the truck up on blocks and activate the parking brake. Slide under the truck and locate the fuel pump. This is located under the driver’s side on Titans.
Unplug the usage cord from the side of the fuel pump. You may have to lift the front clip on the plug, as it is what keeps the plug secured.
