Blackberries are popular and versatile smartphone devices manufactured and distributed by a company named Research In Motion (RIM). The devices are SMS and MMS capable, and are able to send and receive email. Blackberry devices use the Blackberry Desktop Manager Software to synchronize with a PC or Mac. The Blackberry Desktop Manager Software will transfer your email contacts, along with your calendar and media, to the Blackberry device.
Connect the Blackberry to the computer with the USB (or Bluetooth) connector. Click “No” on the device when prompted to open Mass Media Storage. The device will register as a removable drive on the computer.
Open the Blackberry Desktop Manager Software application.
Click the icon labeled “Intellisync.” The Synchronization dialog box will open.
Check the checkbox next to “Synchronization PIM.”
Click the “Sync Now” button. The email contacts from Outlook or any other email client will be transferred to the Blackberry device.
