In many ways, the Android Web browser on your LG Optimus S works similarly to any browser you might use on a computer. Some of the browser’s functions, though, are hidden in menus because the screen isn’t large enough to display them all. When you’re browsing the Internet, for example, you may not see an obvious way to close the windows and pages you’ve opened. To close a window, you’ll need to access the option in the browser’s menu.
- Press the “Home” button and tap the “Applications” icon. This icon looks like a picture of small squares.
- Tap “Browser” to launch the phone’s Web browser.
- Tap the URL field at the top of the browser window. Start typing the address of the website you want to visit. As you type, the Optimus will display possible results. Tap the one you want to use, and then tap “Go.”
- Tap the “Back” arrow to go back to previously viewed pages in your history.
