With the Blackberry 8330, incoming emails can be managed with pre-defined rules. The Blackberry email interface refers to these rules as filters. The message filters are used to determine which emails are forwarded to the Blackberry, and which email messages will remain on the computer’s email program. Email message filters on the Blackberry 8330 can be assigned based on several different variables including message sender, message subject, message importance, and who the message was sent to. Each email messages can pass through multiple filters.
