How to Reduce Sensitivity in a BlackBerry Bold

Having the wrong trackpad sensitivity on your BlackBerry Bold makes selecting applications or fields difficult. For instance, setting your sensitivity too high causes your mouse to speed past items unintentionally even if your thumb barely grazes the trackpad. Your Bold does, however, include tools to alleviate the problem. Find the right speed for your trackpad by reducing the vertical and horizontal sensitivity settings in the Bold’s “Settings” application.

Turn on the Bold, and wait for the Home screen to open.

Open the “Options” application. The application appears on the Home screen by default, but if you changed your Bold’s theme, the application may appear in the “Settings” folder.

Choose the “Typing and Input” option from the “Settings” main menu.
