According to the BlackBerry website, the JVM Error 545 message will appear on your phone when your phone has “encountered a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) application-related problem, and is unable to continue running.” Although irritating, there are a few different ways for you to troubleshoot your BlackBerry Storm to get it working properly again.
Things You’ll Need : USB connection
Update your software to resolve the problem. Connect your Storm to your computer using a USB connection.
Open your Internet and visit the BlackBerry Device Software update page. Click “Check for Updates.”
Type your password for your Storm in the “Device Connection” dialog box and then click “OK.”
Follow the on-screen instructions to update your Storm. Restart your phone when complete. If your phone is still receiving the “JVM 545 Error” message, continue to the next section.
