BlackBerry devices that are Wi-Fi capable have a Media Access Control (MAC) address that may be used to connect to a network. Although the MAC address is not always needed to connect, some devices require it for network access. The MAC address is unique for each BlackBerry device. It will even differ for two devices that are exactly the same. There are three ways to find the MAC address on a BlackBerry.
At the home screen, press the “Menu” key.
Scroll to “Options” and click the trackball to open the folder.
Scroll down to “Status.” The MAC address for the device is listed as “WLAN MAC Address.”
At the home screen, type the letters “E A C E” while holding down the “Alt” key.
Scroll down to “MAC” in the “Help Me!” screen.
