The Plymouth Neon debuted in 1995 as a compact vehicleavailable in a two-door coupe and a four-door sedan. The Neon was marketed as a Chrysler product in Europe, Australia, Japan, Mexico and Canada. The Neon became a Daimler Chrysler product in 1998, after companies merged, and was marketed under the new parent name until it was retired in 2005.

Check Fuel Delivery

Check the Plymouth Neon model’s fuel delivery system if the engine won’t start, stalls in traffic or runs rough.

Relieve fuel system pressure. Disconnect the fuel pump relay, which is located in the panel next to the engine. Start the engine. Let it run until it stalls from lack of gasoline. Turn the ignition off and disconnect the negative battery cable.
