How to Replace a Power Mirror on a Plymouth Neon

5

The Neon’s complex door panel construction makes it a project for an experienced do-it-yourself vehicle owner. However, the project only requires a few basic tools for all model years.

Tools Used: Tools, Screwdriver, Wrench

Replace Power Mirror

Remove the Old Mirror

Disconnect the negative battery cable before you take off the Neon’s front door trim panel. Remove all screws and clips. Detach the mirror’s electrical wire connector located under the door panel near the interior mirror casing. Take off the interior mirror cover by prying it off by hand or with a blunt tool covered in cloth to protect your interior case. Remove three nuts and bolts from the power mirror.
