CDs aren’t always convenient to listen to. If you have a portable MP3 player, such as an iPod, you need a way to get your songs on your computer. Windows Media Player includes a feature that allows you to convert music from your CDs directly to digital audio files. This includes rewritable CDs — also known as CD-RWs — that you’ve burned songs to. Prior to performing the conversion, change the settings relating to the music’s quality, file type and location.
- Open Windows Media Player and insert your CD-RW into your computer’s CD/DVD drive. Click the “Switch to Library” button if you aren’t in the library view already.
