Your Android smartphone comes with a variety of stock apps, but you might never use them if you prefer third-party apps from the Google Play store. Some stock apps constantly run in the background without your permission, eating up valuable space and system resources on your phone. You can’t permanently uninstall default stock apps, but it is possible to stop them from running or temporarily disable them.
- Tap “Settings” on the home screen, and then tap “Apps” in the Device section.
- Select the “All” category. You’ll see a list of all apps that are installed and running on your phone.
