You can use the email application built into Motorola’s Android smartphones and tablets to delete email from your mail folders. An Android device stores a limited number of email messages in its memory, and deleting unimportant messages from your device ensures that the most important information is always accessible.
The check boxes located on the left side of the email screen allow you to select multiple messages and delete them all at once.
Tap the “Launcher” icon on your device’s home screen to view a list of applications on the phone. Tap the “Email” icon. Check the boxes on the left side of the screen to select the messages you want to delete. Tap the “Delete” button in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Tips & Warnings
- Most email accounts store deleted messages in a “Trash” folder. To view your deleted messages, press the “Menu” button, tap “Folders” and tap “Trash.”
