Third-party mobile phones can be synced to your Mac-based computer using the computer’s default synchronization program. The iSync application on the iMac simplifies the task of synchronizing contacts and calendar information between your computer and third-party devices, and is compatible with a limited number of manufacturers, including Nokia.
ISync updates information from iCal and Address Book to your Nokia phone, then moves the mobile phone’s information back to the computer.
Things You’ll Need : Nokia USB device cable, iSync 2.0 or later
Double-click “iSync” in the Applications folder, located in the “Go” menu on your iMac. Secure the Nokia’s cable into the Nokia charger port and the iMac’s USB port.
Click the Nokia icon in iSync, then click the checkbox next to the Nokia synchronization option. Click the “Contacts” and “Calendars” checkboxes, then click “Sync Devices.” Remove the Nokia cable from the iMac after iSync’s synchronization process finishes.
