How to Rotate Unidirectional Tires

Tires with unidirectional tread patterns should be mounted to turn in the correct direction. Unidirectional tires are designed to provide the best traction and handling if they are mounted on a car to spin primarily in one direction. These tires will have arrows or chevrons embossed on the sidewall showing the required direction of rotation. A car with unidirectional tires cannot have the tires rotated in the typical cross-over rotation pattern.
