Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio, then write down the frequencies for the preset buttons. 3. Remove the two expansion clips and the two bumper bolts that fasten the left inner fender to the fender flange. 4. Remove the splash shield (four bolts and five expansion clips). 5. Place a clean drain pan under the radiator, then remove the drain plug from the bottom of the radiator to drain the coolant. Remove the radiator cap, and loosen the air bleed bolt to increase the flow. NOTICE. Radiator coolant will damage paint. Quickly rinse any spilled coolant from painted surfaces. 6. Disconnect the battery cables from the battery, then remove the battery holder and the battery (two nuts). 7. Remove the coolant reservoir from the bracket by pulling it straight up. 8. Remove the battery tray (four bolts). 9. Remove the drain bolt and washer from the engine block. Coolant remaining in the engine jackets will flow out of the bolt hole when the bolt is removed. (Retain the bolt and washer in case the engine block heater is removed.)
